The host Matteo is a legend, he will go above an beyond to make sure you have a lovely stay and don't miss out on any of the Tuscany highlights. The lovely house itself breaths history but is also very comfortable and spacious (and spotlessly clean!).The restaurants right on the Castello's square are great, we tried two and loved both of them (reasonable prices too). Just strolling a couple meters down the medieval square to get home after some lovely evening wine is incredible.
